Danilo Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Eliézer de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Silveira having to interfere. Danilo Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Eliézer de Almeida blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danilo Silveira having to make a save. Christian Mendonça showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Dantas in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Felippe Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balancas SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 37th minute Eliézer de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Paiva in the 39th minute of play forced Balancas SC's goalkeeper Danilo Silveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 2-1 became the score in the 41st minute when Eliézer de Almeida elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Felippe Dantas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Christian Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliézer de Almeida stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eliézer de Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After 72 minutes, Pedro Augusto Dias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LION FC and the Balancas SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Augusto Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute of the match José Tavares sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Mendonça skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in LION FC's zone, Felippe Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Mendonça came out of the goal and Felippe Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Balancas SC's Osvaldo Leal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Mendonça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Osvaldo Leal took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christian Mendonça. Christian Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. Osvaldo Paiva was extremely unlucky when he, in the 90th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. LION FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
