Voturantim's Tiago de Godoy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Neto in the 23rd minute of play. Oséias Pernambucano charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oséias Pernambucano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Donato Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Tiago de Godoy made a huge save. Donato Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiago de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gildo Neto in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardinho Campidelis in the 45th minute of play forced Britania's goalkeeper William Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Valle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gildo Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Gildo Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Britania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Neto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Donato Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiago de Godoy was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ricardinho Campidelis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of William Zonta when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Donato Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiago de Godoy came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Britania's Donato Valle. But to his dismay, Donato Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gildo Neto in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tiago de Godoy saved Voturantim from getting behind. Gildo Neto scored 2-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiago de Godoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Voturantim's goalkeeper Tiago de Godoy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Britania's Donato Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gildo Neto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago de Godoy having to interfere. Tiago de Godoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Valle in the 91st minute of play. Oséias Pernambucano hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute of the match Igor Porto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tiago de Godoy skillfully saved the ball. Britania walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
