After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Pedrinho do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bar sem Lona F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 24 minutes into the match, São Thiago Matamouros's goalkeeper Deivid Maranhense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrinho do Nascimento. When Guga Freire came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bar sem Lona F C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Freire couldn't finish the play. If Henrique da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 33 played minutes Bar sem Lona F C got a freekick which was hit by Teodor Bornescu. Guga Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deivid Maranhense having to interfere. After 42 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Bar sem Lona F C!

When Bar sem Lona F C's Pedrinho do Nascimento in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 61st minute of the match Alfredo Velasco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Deivid Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. Deivid Maranhense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the game, Enio Vergílio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. São Thiago Matamouros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bar sem Lona F C the free kick. A collision led to São Thiago Matamouros getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Enio Vergílio hit a great ball. Pedrinho do Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Deivid Maranhense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Guga Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bar sem Lona F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guga Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, São Thiago Matamouros's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Freire came free, but Deivid Maranhense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Vágner Koehler managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bar sem Lona F C's supporters rose to their feet, but Vágner Koehler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Deivid Maranhense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Henrique da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Maranhense came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Bar sem Lona F C's Guga Freire. But to his dismay, Guga Freire quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bar sem Lona F C's Guga Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
