Manoel Penha scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tarcisio Leão, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Albinopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Penha came free, but Tarcisio Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Albinopolis FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Fonseca to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Frédson Alvarenga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arius's supporters rose to their feet, but Frédson Alvarenga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tarcisio Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 24th minute Manoel Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tarcisio Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Dedé Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frédson Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 32nd minute, Frédson Alvarenga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arius fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After some careless play in the Albinopolis FC defense, Manoel Penha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tarcisio Leão. The Albinopolis FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tarcisio Leão should have stopped the shot. Tarcisio Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Penha in the 41st minute of the match. Tarcisio Leão came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Arius's Manolo Freitas. But to his dismay, Manolo Freitas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

In the 52nd minute, Francisco Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th minute, Arius's Manoel Penha dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Tarcisio Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Albinopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Penha came free, but Tarcisio Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tarcisio Leão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frédson Alvarenga in the 80th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Manoel Penha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tarcisio Leão. Manoel Penha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Manoel Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tarcisio Leão having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Arius's Frédson Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tarcisio Leão made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After having played for 97 minutes, Manoel Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arius's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manoel Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arius's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
