Spectators: 6461 (Terracing: 5461, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eriberto Mineiro kicked off to start the match. Muniz Sport Club's Osvaldinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Mineiro in the 5th minute of play. Osvaldinho Monteiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Saldanha in the 9th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Muniz Sport Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! Osvaldinho Monteiro went to the wrong direction when Armando Vander was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Leonel Novaes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Valdir Dionísio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Alberto Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Dionísio having to interfere. Dagoberto Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Jairo Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Muniz Sport Club's Osvaldinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Mineiro in the 23rd minute of play. Osvaldinho Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademir Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Jean Saldanha made a precise shot to the right of Osvaldinho Monteiro. Muniz Sport Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 32 minutes into the game, João Carlos Carvalho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valdir Dionísio. João Carlos Carvalho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, Paricas's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Novaes came free, but Valdir Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvaldinho Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jean Saldanha, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Andrézinho Tande took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Osvaldinho Monteiro. Osvaldinho Monteiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. João Carlos Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Dionísio having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlos Alberto Santos made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Muniz Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Tande came free, but Osvaldinho Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muniz Sport Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Andrézinho Tande scored to the left of an out of position Osvaldinho Monteiro, making the score, 1-3. In the 60th minute, Muniz Sport Club's Jairo Netto seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jairo Netto the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Muniz Sport Club protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jairo Netto had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Muniz Sport Club fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Osvaldinho Monteiro, was totally fooled by Paricas's Armando Vander, who 62 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Muniz Sport Club's Osvaldinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Mineiro in the 65th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Muniz Sport Club's Carlos Alberto Santos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valdir Dionísio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Valdir Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Alberto Santos in the 72nd minute of the match. Osvaldinho Monteiro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Paricas's Ademir Favoretto. But to his dismay, Ademir Favoretto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Andrézinho Tande hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute of the match Júlio de Amaral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Valdir Dionísio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Carlos Alberto Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Valdir Dionísio was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 82nd minute Eriberto Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvaldinho Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvaldinho Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Tande in the 83rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, João Carlos Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muniz Sport Club's supporters rose to their feet, but João Carlos Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valdir Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If João Carlos Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute Carlos Alberto Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdir Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valdir Dionísio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Carlos Alberto Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Dionísio having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Paricas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
