Bahamas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curupira FC the free kick. The audience cheered when Léo Rosado's long shot passed Hudson Quintal's right side. It was 0-1, 10 minutes into the match. Renan Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Bahamas FC's Dé Alagoano got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Dé Alagoano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sidney Tepedino, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Paulo Renato Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dé Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. After 56 played minutes Bahamas FC got a freekick which was hit by Dito da Silva. In the 57th minute, Luís Paulo Albuquerque fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Hudson Quintal, passed just outside the right post. 63 minutes into the match, Curupira FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Breckenfeld came free, but Sidney Tepedino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Paulo Albuquerque in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hudson Quintal saved Bahamas FC from getting behind. After having played for 73 minutes, Hélio das Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Curupira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélio das Neves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the game, Luís Paulo Albuquerque recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hudson Quintal. Luís Paulo Albuquerque showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. 81 minutes into the match, Curupira FC's Luís Paulo Albuquerque sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hudson Quintal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Bahamas FC's Dé Alagoano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Tepedino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Curupira FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
