Zeca Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Vítor Camargo in the 11th minute of the match. Zeca Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Percy Bezerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Avarzeado SS's Ian Antunes got a free kick in the 21st minute. Zeca Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Percy Bezerra in the 24th minute of the match. Noel Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Avarzeado SS's Luís Guilherme Peres got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 32nd minute, Sílvio Luís do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percy Bezerra in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Guimarães saved Avarzeado SS from getting behind. In the 36th minute, Percy Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Percy Bezerra scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zeca Guimarães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Percy Bezerra struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Zeca Guimarães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ratense FC. David Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Zeca Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Zeca Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. With a little luck, Avarzeado SS's Zeca Guimarães got control of the ball when Percy Bezerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ratense FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
