Raúl Prado's late challenge caught a Itupeva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Prado helped the player get up and apologised. Raúl Prado hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Carlos Pernambucano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Favoretto, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Carlos Pernambucano had great luck who in the 58thth minute grab hold of the ball when Eriberto Favoretto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Eriberto Favoretto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Itupeva's Carlos Pernambucano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Favoretto in the 73rd minute of play. Carlos Pernambucano was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rogério Galvão. Eriberto Favoretto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Itupeva's Raphael Vianna got a free kick in the 89th minute. Poacos played a much better game than Itupeva and deserved their victory. The Itupeva players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
