Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Enrique Domingues made the kick off which started today's match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dé Barros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Cícero Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matinada's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matinada's André Luís Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Domingues in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sílvio Luiz Marques managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matinada's supporters rose to their feet, but Sílvio Luiz Marques was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 minutes, Wilson Diniz made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. URBIS FC's Dé Barros tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, URBIS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cícero Correia came free, but Dé Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th match minute, URBIS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Nóbrega to maneuver through the defense. Dé Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cícero Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 played minutes URBIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Borges. Dé Barros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilson Diniz went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Sílvio Luiz Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Luís Valladares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Domingues in the 36th minute of the match. André Luís Valladares was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrique Domingues showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 38 minute of play. Rony Castro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dé Barros. URBIS FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cícero Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cícero Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Dé Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The URBIS FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Matinada were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Diniz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. André Luís Valladares came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by URBIS FC's Enrique Domingues. But to his dismay, Enrique Domingues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 57th match minute, URBIS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. Pedrão Araújo hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Zé Pedro Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Domingues in the 72nd minute of play forced Matinada's goalkeeper André Luís Valladares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cícero Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Barros having to interfere. In the 80th minute Wilson Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cícero Correia came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Matinada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Correia couldn't finish the play. If Wilson Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dé Barros was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Wilson Diniz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wilson Diniz really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The Matinada supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Matinada would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
