Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dé Barros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Garotos do Rio's Cafu Reis got a free kick in the 7th minute. Oswaldo Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Felipe Zilles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but URBIS FC's Dé Barros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Umberto da Mata's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dé Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute Felipe Zilles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes URBIS FC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Araújo. A collision led to URBIS FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. João Carlos Teixeira hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Melo in the 28th minute of play forced URBIS FC's goalkeeper Dé Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dé Barros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Zilles's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. If Umberto da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felipe Zilles took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dé Barros. Dé Barros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 38 minutes into the game, Felipe Zilles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garotos do Rio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave URBIS FC the free kick. The supporters of URBIS FC booed when Garotos do Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Zilles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Zilles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dé Barros having to make a save. Tomé Rezende sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nilson Melo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dé Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garotos do Rio. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrique Domingues stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Felipe Zilless short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Dé Barros to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felipe Zilles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Barros having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Enrique Domingues had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. A collision led to Garotos do Rio getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Cafu Reis hit a great ball. Filipe de Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Nilson Melo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Garotos do Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nilson Melo couldn't finish the play. Umberto da Mata struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute.
