Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ademar Mendonça kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Aguti got a freekick which was hit by Igor Cardoso. Michel Rosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo da Silveira in the 9th minute of the match. Dedê de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando Loureiro in the 13th minute of the match. In the 15th match minute, Aguti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bebeto Silva to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Mendonça was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Dobromir Sobczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michel Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aguti's Haroldo Meireles got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 29th minute, Zé Paulo Saldanha left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aguti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After some careless play in the Aguti defense, Ademar Mendonça kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michel Rosa. The Aguti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michel Rosa should have stopped the shot. If Eliodor Durbacă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Igor Cardoso hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Eliodor Durbacă took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Michel Rosa. Michel Rosa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nando Loureiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nando Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Zé Paulo Saldanha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Aguti booed when Uacurizal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th match minute, Aguti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Ademar Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Rosa having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Nando Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aguti's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nando Loureiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedê de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Saldanha in the 67th minute of the match. A collision led to Uacurizal getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arlindo da Silveira hit a great ball. If Nando Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Nando Loureiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedê de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Uacurizal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson Lara to maneuver through the defense. 81 minutes into the game, Paulo Renato de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aguti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Uacurizal the free kick. After 86 played minutes, Aguti's Chiquinho Paraíba shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dedê de Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aguti reached it. 90 minutes into the game, Zé Paulo Saldanha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dedê de Queiroz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Uacurizal's Eliodor Durbacă in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Aguti's goalie prevented a goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
