After having played for 33 minutes, Patrick Trigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Torino FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Trigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Augusto Santana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guto da Mata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Torino FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Bernardinho Senna hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Jarbas Pontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 46 minutes into the game, Alfredo Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Alfredão Messias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augusto Santana to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Patrick Trigo made a precise shot to the right of Guto da Mata. Boia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Guto da Mata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Santana in the 58th minute of play. After some careless play in the Boia defense, Augusto Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guto da Mata. The Boia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto da Mata should have stopped the shot. After 64 played minutes Torino FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Senna. When Enrique Quadros came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Boia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Quadros couldn't finish the play. Augusto Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Augusto Santana put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Guto da Mata. When Torino FC's Patrick Trigo in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boia's goalie prevented a goal. Torino FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
