Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) If Oliver Schouters had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 6 minutes into the game, Sylwester Laskowski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Célio Alvarenga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ventura! In the 16th minute, one of Ventura:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ventura. Sylwester Laskowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Célio Alvarenga read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Célio Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Schouters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Radowit Waselenczuk kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Sylwester Laskowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Alvarenga having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tião Abreu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Minervinho booed when Ventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tião Abreu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rafinha Meireles was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emerson de Toledo got free with Célio Alvarenga in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ventura's Célio Alvarenga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafinha Meireles in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Minervinho's Renato Cardozo got a free kick in the 58th minute. 64 minutes into the match, Délio Maranhense notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Minervinho's Osmar Negri. Osmar Negri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osmar Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Maranhense in the 70th minute of the match. The supporters of Minervinho booed when Ventura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráuzio Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rafinha Meireles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 74 played minutes Rafinha Meireles rounded Ventura's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrão Souto in the 78th minute of play forced Minervinho's goalkeeper Osmar Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonel Macedo scored 2-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar Negri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osmar Negri came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Ventura's Délio Maranhense. But to his dismay, Délio Maranhense quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Minervinho's Rafinha Meireles got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 91 minutes into the match, Oliver Schouters dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Célio Alvarenga, 3-5. In the 95th match minute, Ventura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Délio Maranhense to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Minervinho could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ventura throughout the match.
