When Cléberson Britto came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Pasmado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléberson Britto couldn't finish the play. Wanderson Santana's late challenge caught a Pasmado's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wanderson Santana helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Luiz Paulo Oliveira put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nildo Vander. 35 minutes in the game, Luiz Paulo Oliveira fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nildo Vander having to interfere. After 38 played minutes, Pasmado's Gláuber Goiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nildo Vander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pasmado reached it. Pasmado's Tomás de Alcântara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo Maranhense in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Maranhense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tomás de Alcântara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tomás de Alcântara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Luiz Paulo Oliveira made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luiz Paulo Oliveira in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nildo Vander saved Batista AD from getting behind. Dieguinho do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Batista AD's Kauã Godoi got a free kick in the 55th minute. Nildo Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luiz Paulo Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. After 78 minutes of play, Pasmado's Luiz Paulo Oliveira made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nildo Vander was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nildo Vander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Batista AD's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Britto came free, but Nildo Vander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Dráusio Urbano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Batista AD's Nildo Vander did a great save. Wanderson Santana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Batista AD's Wanderson Santana got a free kick in the 88th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ezequiel Magalhães got free with Tomás de Alcântara in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Batista AD players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pasmado.
