Rio Branco VN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tello Torres in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miguel Meira saved Rio Branco VN from getting behind. 48 minutes into the match, Ricardo Jacinto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Meios's Giovanni Albuquerque. Giovanni Albuquerque was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Ricardo Jacinto made the kick off in the second half. Tello Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Meios's Tello Torres got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Meios walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
