Aírton Andrade scored 1-0 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evaristo Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Eliseu Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Borges in the 20th minute of the match. Lino Trancoso hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Alan Loyola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Borges in the 33rd minute of play. Alan Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Fernandez in the 37th minute of the match. Evaristo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabrício Borges to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Fabrício Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Loyola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th minute, Giovani Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Fabrício Borges kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alan Loyola. That made the score 1-1 in the 68 minute of play. Alan Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrício Borges in the 72nd minute of the match. Jean Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jean Fernandez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Alan Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Gildo Macedo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cangussu and the Urubu SS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute of the match, Jean Fernandez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alan Loyola was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabrício Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Loyola having to interfere. If Eliseu Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Urubu SS's Giovani Lira got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Aírton Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Salgado having to interfere. Cangussu were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
