The audience thought a goal was coming when João Albuquerque got free with Diogo Corrêa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Kaká Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Beto Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Paranaense in the 24th minute of play. Beto Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Ribeiro in the 25th minute of the match. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jeferson Senna made a kick off. Diogo Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeferson Senna in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Damaso Tello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beto Figueiredo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute, Goncalves FC's Kaká Ribeiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Beto Figueiredo. Beto Figueiredo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. But to his dismay, Jeferson Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Beto Figueiredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goncalves FC. 1-4 became the score in the 82nd minute when Kaká Ribeiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Goncalves FC's Kaká Ribeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Beto Figueiredo. That made the score 1-5 after 85 minutes of play. In the 89th match minute, SimpleJob was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dorival de Lara to maneuver through the defense. If Hernani Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 played minutes Goncalves FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Paranaense. 95 minutes into the match, SimpleJob's Toninho Vinhas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Goncalves FC played a much better game than SimpleJob and deserved their victory. The SimpleJob players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
