Macedônia FC's Roger Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donatello Arantes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26th minute Deivid Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Dantas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rebojinho FC's Dorian Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Lira in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Macedônia FC's Roger Dantas got control of the ball when Donatello Arantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilian Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macedônia FC's Gualter Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilian Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorian Santana having to interfere. After the first half Macedônia FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Aírton Bezerra hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Macedônia FC's Wilian Lira got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deivid Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Wilian Lira did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Dorian Santana 62 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Macedônia FC defense, Zacarias Vidal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roger Dantas. The Macedônia FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roger Dantas should have stopped the shot. Dorian Santana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Lira in the 71st minute of the match. Laércio Tróia kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Macedônia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Donatello Arantes came free, but Roger Dantas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laércio Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Dorian Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wilian Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rebojinho FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! The score was 1-8 after a penalty in the 83rd minute, where Macedônia FC:s Mauro Mendonça tricked Rebojinho FC:s Dorian Santana with a difficult ball by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Macedônia FC's Mauro Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dorian Santana. That made the score 1-9 after 87 minutes of play. 95 minutes into the match, Macedônia FC's Mauro Mendonça sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dorian Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 97th minute, Wilian Lira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorian Santana was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-11. Macedônia FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
