In the 7th match minute, Oquinimia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haroldo Quirino to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Oquinimia's goal looked a bit too open when Dávid Kelemen came free, but Michel Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee ignored Oquinimia's protests and gave Luís Paulo Passos a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Oquinimia's Luís Paulo Passos got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Oquinimia got a freekick which was hit by Haroldo Quirino. When Dávid Kelemen came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Pixe EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dávid Kelemen couldn't finish the play. Jardel Queirós made in the 20th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Pixe EC's Paulinho Souza. The supporters of Oquinimia booed when Pixe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Bezerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emil Tyszka charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Tyszka the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Oquinimia booed when Pixe EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Tyszka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Min made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Lima in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dávid Kelemen in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michel Vasconcelos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Júlio Veiga lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pixe EC! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Oquinimia. Luiz Sarmento stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sixto Min. 1-0. João Paulo Vargas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Haroldo Quirino fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oquinimia's protests and gave Haroldo Quirino a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Haroldo Quirino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sílvio Luiz de Sousa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Tomás Bezerra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pixe EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Bezerra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sílvio Luiz de Sousa in the 53rd minute of play forced Oquinimia's goalkeeper Michel Vasconcelos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denílson de Sena made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Haroldo Quirino however managed to control. Sílvio Luiz de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Paulinho Souza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pixe EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Souza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michel Vasconcelos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 66th minute, Tomás Bezerra made a precise shot to the right of Michel Vasconcelos. Oquinimia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 76 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz de Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Vasconcelos. Oquinimia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz de Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The audience was convinced that Luís Paulo Passos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sixto Min was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Paulinho Souza struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Michel Vasconcelos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pixe EC. 84 minutes into the match, Sílvio Luiz de Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michel Vasconcelos. Oquinimia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sílvio Luiz de Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Sixto Min took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Paulo Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Luiz de Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oquinimia's Michel Vasconcelos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Bezerra in the 95th minute of play. Dávid Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michel Vasconcelos having to interfere. Pixe EC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
