If Lenílson Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orlando Vianna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalmo Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Adalmo Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orlando Vianna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Carira AD's Wilson Cunha got control of the ball when Célio Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulysses Lucas kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Luiz Paulo Massa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilson Cunha having to make a save. Wilson Cunha was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Luiz Paulo Massa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 43 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Adalmo Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Adalmo Messias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SORRISO E. C.'s Orlando Vianna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carira AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
