With a little luck, Amarilis EC's Nildo Moreira got control of the ball when Bernardo Pinheiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nildo Moreira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Luiz Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Amarilis EC's Nildo Moreira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Amarilis EC from getting a goal against them. André Luiz Alagoano took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nildo Moreira. Nildo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nildo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinei de Moraes in the 21st minute of the match. Nildo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei de Moraes in the 22nd minute of play. Umber Clube's Claudinei de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ronaldo Soeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudinei de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Moreira having to interfere. When Dalmo Vander fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Umber Clube's protests and gave Dalmo Vander a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Amarilis EC booed when Umber Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Vander didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Luiz Alagoano was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Ronaldo Soeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umber Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Soeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Moreira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luiz Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Nildo Moreira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umber Clube. If Claudinei de Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nildo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Alagoano in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th match minute, Umber Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Luiz Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Umber Clube got a freekick which was hit by André Luiz Alagoano. 68 minutes into the match, André Luiz Alagoano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Amarilis EC's Nildo Moreira. Nildo Moreira was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. André Luiz Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Nildo Moreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Amarilis EC's goalkeeper Nildo Moreira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute Tarcisio Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amílton Mello saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Umber Clube's goalkeeper Amílton Mello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaltino Valle. Nildo Moreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Luiz Alagoano in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Amarilis EC's Isaltino Valle got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Claudinei Camargo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Umber Clube's Bernardo Pinheiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Alagoano in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nildo Moreira saved Amarilis EC from getting behind. 86 minutes into the match, André Luiz Alagoano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nildo Moreira. Amarilis EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Luiz Alagoano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Claudinei Camargo made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which João Augusto Vinhas however managed to control. Umber Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
