Icaissara SC's Jano Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Nascimento in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Icaissara SC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Gilvan Garcia hit a great ball. Zé Tasso hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Icaissara SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Garcia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Ceara Sporting Club booed when Icaissara SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Tasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mané Nascimento in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jano Nascimento saved Icaissara SC from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Raphael Matos made a precise shot to the right of Jano Nascimento. Icaissara SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mané Nascimento made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Icaissara SC's goalkeeper Jano Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raphael Matos. In the 54th minute, Zé Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jano Nascimento didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 58th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. Jano Nascimento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Raphael Matos in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, Agostinho Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Ramón Ortiz. Icaissara SC's Jano Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané Nascimento in the 76th minute of play. If Raphael Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Raphael Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ceara Sporting Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Raphael Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jano Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mané Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Agostinho Medeiros in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramón Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Icaissara SC booed when Ceara Sporting Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Agostinho Lira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 96th minute Mané Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jano Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceara Sporting Club played a much better game than Icaissara SC and deserved their victory. The Icaissara SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
