The supporters of Feehmendes F.c booed when Club Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Faustino didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Club Rio's Bartolo Eyague nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar Trigo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Romeo Whiteley in the 14thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osmar Trigo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Waldir Quirino kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Osmar Trigo made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Romeo Whiteley sent off a good shot on target. If Romeo Whiteley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Feehmendes F.c's Dorival de Senna got a free kick in the 25th minute. The supporters of Feehmendes F.c booed when Club Rio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Ourente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Feehmendes F.c's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Romeo Whiteley fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Osmar Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romeo Whiteley in the 33rd minute. Feehmendes F.c's Osmar Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolo Eyague in the 35th minute of play. Osmar Trigo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Romeo Whiteley sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Feehmendes F.c's zone, Bartolo Eyague stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osmar Trigo came out of the goal and Bartolo Eyague tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 44 minutes, Romeo Whiteley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romeo Whiteley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Whiteley struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Osmar Trigo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Rio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Whiteley made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Whiteley in the 55th minute of play forced Feehmendes F.c's goalkeeper Osmar Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st match minute, Feehmendes F.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Dante to maneuver through the defense. When Romeo Whiteley came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Club Rio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romeo Whiteley couldn't finish the play. Osmar Trigo came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Rio's Romeo Whiteley. But to his dismay, Romeo Whiteley quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Romeo Whiteley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bartolo Eyague had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Feehmendes F.c's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Whiteley came free, but Osmar Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerônimo Negri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gernando Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Feehmendes F.c getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Dorival de Senna hit a great ball. After 79 played minutes Feehmendes F.c got a freekick which was hit by Gernando Quirino. Osmar Trigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Whiteley in the 79th minute of play. In the 81stth minute of the game Romeo Whiteley who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Feehmendes F.c's Osmar Trigo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dorival de Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Arlindo Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Romeo Whiteley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osmar Trigo having to interfere. Club Rio walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
