Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Faustão Pombal got the match started through his kick off. Rodriguinho Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Maranhense in the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the game, Faustão Pombal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdelaziz Kornrumpf. Faustão Pombal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Faustão Pombal hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Passos FC's Edvaldo Maranhense in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaivota's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Gaivota's Hélio Galvão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdelaziz Kornrumpf. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Passos FC's Abdelaziz Kornrumpf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caco Figueiredo in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Gaivota's goal looked a bit too open when Edvaldo Maranhense came free, but Rodriguinho Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelaziz Kornrumpf made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jaime Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. Faustão Pombal hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 37th match minute, Gaivota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Cavalcante to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Edvaldo Maranhense ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodriguinho Marinho was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 44 minutes into the match, Faustão Pombal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdelaziz Kornrumpf, 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvaldo Maranhense was the one to do the kick off. Abdelaziz Kornrumpf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cavalcante in the 51st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Pombal in the 57th minute of play forced Passos FC's goalkeeper Abdelaziz Kornrumpf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raúl Trancoso charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Trancoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, Raúl Trancoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abdelaziz Kornrumpf showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Abdelaziz Kornrumpf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Cavalcante in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edvaldo Maranhense in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodriguinho Marinho saved Gaivota from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Hélio Galvão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gaivota's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélio Galvão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdelaziz Kornrumpf breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Abdelaziz Kornrumpf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faustão Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the match, Passos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Cavalcante came free, but Abdelaziz Kornrumpf reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvaldo Maranhense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodriguinho Marinho having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edvaldo Maranhense in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodriguinho Marinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angelo Paraíba hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute Hélio Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelaziz Kornrumpf saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 95 played minutes, Passos FC's Geovânio Zanette shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rodriguinho Marinho came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Passos FC reached it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gaivota had won after a very even match.
