When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Josué de Alcântara made a kick off. Genílson Diniz's late challenge caught a Resistência FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexandre Messias didn't quite understand what happened when in the 89 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. A collision led to Resistência FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Murilo Rosado hit a great ball. Remo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué de Alcântara, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Resistência FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
