Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Evandro Almeida made the kick off which started today's match. The attack was good, but when Evandro Almeida in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Filomeno Eutropio took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oswaldo Pereira. Oswaldo Pereira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Augusto Ortiz didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. Evandro Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Oswaldo Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Alan Salgado came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Vicentado EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alan Salgado couldn't finish the play. LEGIONARIOS's Augusto Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save LEGIONARIOS from getting a goal against them. Valdir Arósio's late challenge caught a LEGIONARIOS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdir Arósio helped the player get up and apologised. Valdir Arósio hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Augusto Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovânio Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Vicentado EC's goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Eutropio came free, but Oswaldo Pereira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LEGIONARIOS booed when Vicentado EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovânio Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. LEGIONARIOS's Evandro Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Eutropio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Pereira having to interfere. Oswaldo Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mazinho Dias in the 47th minute of the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovânio Gerber to make the kick off. Evandro Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Pereira having to interfere. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Alan Salgado sped through LEGIONARIOS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Augusto Ortiz. After a defensive mix-up in Vicentado EC's zone, Evandro Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Pereira came out of the goal and Evandro Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, LEGIONARIOS's Mazinho Dias got a free kick in the 63rd minute. LEGIONARIOS's Wu Cheng Xiao was substituted for Hélder de Lara. LEGIONARIOS made a substitution. Paulinho Tande replaced Denílson Cruz. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Rocha during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Rodolfo Rocha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filomeno Eutropio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Pereira was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Evandro Almeida capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Evandro Almeida really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. In the 85th minute, Filomeno Eutropio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LEGIONARIOS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Vicentado EC's goalkeeper Oswaldo Pereira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulinho Tande. In the 91st minute Evandro Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oswaldo Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Evandro Almeida recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Oswaldo Pereira. Evandro Almeida showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. LEGIONARIOS's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
