Spectators: 6667 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Vivaldo Maciel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Murilo Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vivaldo Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando da Silva during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 11 minutes into the game, one of Tiaraju SS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aníbal Souto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Caio de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the game, Eliézer Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiaraju SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Campinhas the free kick. Eliézer Salles hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Caio de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vivaldo Maciel in the 23rd minute of play forced Tiaraju SS's goalkeeper Murilo Novaes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Vivaldo Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiaraju SS's Murilo Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tiaraju SS's Murilo Novaes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vivaldo Maciel in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Vivaldo Maciel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caio de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Vivaldo Maciel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tiaraju SS's Murilo Novaes. Murilo Novaes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 38th minute of the match Cafu Jacinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Murilo Novaes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 40th play minutes Caio de Amorim shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Murilo Novaes and just under the crossbar into goal. Campinhas's Alberto de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rony Queirós in the 47th minute of play. Campinhas's Alberto de Andrade proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Campinhas from getting a goal against them. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 54th match minute, Tiaraju SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório de Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 58thth minute of the game Vivaldo Maciel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tiaraju SS's Murilo Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Campinhas booed when Tiaraju SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliézer Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caio de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Novaes having to interfere. After 68 minutes of play Tiaraju SS's Eliézer Salles was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Tiaraju SS's Eliézer Salles got a free kick in the 69th minute. Campinhas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aníbal Souto in the 72nd minute. Vivaldo Maciel received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Murilo Novaes came out and tried to block the shot, but Vivaldo Maciel slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Campinhas's zone, Douglas Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto de Andrade came out of the goal and Douglas Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Murilo Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vivaldo Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Vivaldo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vivaldo Maciel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murilo Novaes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vivaldo Maciel in the 88th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vivaldo Maciel in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murilo Novaes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Campinhas's Vivaldo Maciel in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tiaraju SS's goalie prevented a goal. Campinhas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
