After a rather tough play, Campinhas's Cafu Jacinto got a free kick in the 6th minute. Marquinhos de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Galudos F.C. getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Nelson Massa hit a great ball. Caio de Amorim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marquinhos de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Vivaldo Maciel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos de Sousa having to interfere. Alberto de Andrade was a little too slow when Isaltino Domingues got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. Caio de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marquinhos de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Galudos F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Chaves to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Galudos F.C. defense, Vivaldo Maciel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marquinhos de Sousa. The Galudos F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marquinhos de Sousa should have stopped the shot. 41 minutes into the match, Galudos F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Caio de Amorim came free, but Marquinhos de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vivaldo Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marquinhos de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vivaldo Maciel to make the kick off. After 62 minutes, Aníbal Souto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Campinhas and the Galudos F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Galudos F.C.'s Edvaldo Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Campinhas had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
