After 4 played minutes Tiaraju SS got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Arruda. Aníbal Souto was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 5th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Caio de Amorim in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Murilo Novaes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alberto de Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Douglas Cardozo in the 12th minute of the match. Simão Alves's late challenge caught a Tiaraju SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Simão Alves helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Campinhas's Simão Alves got a free kick in the 13th minute. Murilo Novaes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Aníbal Souto. Simão Alves got his second yellow card in the match during the 30th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 31 played minutes Campinhas got a freekick which was hit by Simão Alves. After having played for 36 minutes, Caio de Amorim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Caio de Amorim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cafu Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murilo Novaes having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Caio de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Murilo Novaes. Tiaraju SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

The wind increased when Caio de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. Murilo Novaes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caio de Amorim's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Vivaldo Maciel struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Murilo Novaes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Campinhas. In the 57th minute, Caio de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vivaldo Maciel might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murilo Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vivaldo Maciel ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Tiaraju SS getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Eliézer Salles hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Caio de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Murilo Novaes was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Douglas Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto de Andrade having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Caio de Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gabriel Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Novaes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Campinhas's Caio de Amorim. But to his dismay, Caio de Amorim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Murilo Novaes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caio de Amorim went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score.
