Kansas RB's Dedé Dantas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agenor Rodrigues in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Atlético Salesiano F.C booed when Kansas RB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Décio Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 21 minutes into the game, Agenor Rodrigues lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Dedé Dantas. After a rather tough play, Atlético Salesiano F.C's Décio Cavalcante got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 36thth minute of the game Agenor Rodrigues who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kansas RB's Dedé Dantas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Décio Vaz hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
