Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Oliveira EC's Marcos Leal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Betão Dionísio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Leal's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcos Leal in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Betão Dionísio saved Estreito FC from getting behind. 7 minutes into the game, Almir Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estreito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oliveira EC the free kick. The supporters of Oliveira EC booed when Estreito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Almir Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Rui Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Betão Dionísio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Júlio Quirino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Jeremias Paulista fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Júlio Quirino, passed just outside the right post. Júlio Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Figueiredo in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Oliveira EC got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Toledo. After a defensive mix-up in Oliveira EC's zone, Conrado Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Júlio Quirino came out of the goal and Conrado Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Betão Dionísio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Leal in the 32nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estreito FC's Cássio Martins got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Rui Mineiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Betão Dionísio. Estreito FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Betão Dionísio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Leal's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Almir Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estreito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Júlio Quirino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliveira EC's Marcos Leal got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Vergílio in the 42nd minute of play forced Estreito FC's goalkeeper Betão Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marcos Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oliveira EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Leal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Betão Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Conrado Figueiredo to make the kick off. Jeremias Paulista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the match, Rui Mineiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Estreito FC's Betão Dionísio. Betão Dionísio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 62ndth minute of the game Conrado Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oliveira EC's Júlio Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jeremias Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júlio Quirino having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Estreito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Leal came free, but Betão Dionísio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Adolfo Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 76th minute, Conrado Figueiredo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Estreito FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Júlio Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Paulista in the 83rd minute of the match. 87 minutes into the game, Marcos Leal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Betão Dionísio. Marcos Leal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. 94 minutes into the match, Oliveira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Figueiredo came free, but Júlio Quirino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Oliveira EC's Marcos Leal in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Estreito FC's goalie prevented a goal. The Oliveira EC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Estreito FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
