Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luiz Fernando Britto got the match started through his kick off. Edmundo Fernandes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natã Meireles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10thth minute of the game Natã Meireles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Araçatubense's Edmundo Fernandes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Luterano FC's zone, Rogério Senna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafal Wolczewski came out of the goal and Rogério Senna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 16th play minute Frederico Dante came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edmundo Fernandes. 1-0. Edmundo Fernandes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Meireles in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luterano FC's goalkeeper Rafal Wolczewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Frederico Dante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Edmundo Fernandes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Frederico Dante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Fernandes having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Natã Meireles fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edmundo Fernandes, passed just outside the right post. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araçatubense's goalkeeper Edmundo Fernandes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Felipe de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafal Wolczewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Natã Meireles to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Araçatubense's Maurício Tinoco got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 59th minute, Frederico Dante left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Luterano FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Frederico Dante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luterano FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Dante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmundo Fernandes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Araçatubense's Sandro Reis got a free kick in the 71st minute. Frederico Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Ramos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Edmundo Fernandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luterano FC. After some careless play in the Araçatubense defense, Natã Meireles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmundo Fernandes. The Araçatubense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmundo Fernandes should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Araçatubense's zone, Frederico Dante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edmundo Fernandes came out of the goal and Frederico Dante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edmundo Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Meireles in the 92nd minute of the match. Natã Meireles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Edmundo Fernandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Luterano FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
