Cristian Paranaense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto Novaes in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Olívio de Almeida shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cristian Paranaense showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guto Novaes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Paranaense having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Itupiranga's goal looked a bit too open when Guto Novaes came free, but Cristian Paranaense reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giovanni Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristian Paranaense took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Guto Novaes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Itupiranga's Cristian Paranaense. In the 58th minute, Olívio de Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes, Artur de Andrade mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Itupiranga and the Adrianopolis EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, one of Itupiranga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Itupiranga. The goalkeeper, Cristian Paranaense, was totally fooled by Adrianopolis EC's João Paulo Branco, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Adrianopolis EC's Guto Novaes got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Cristian Paranaense managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Adrianopolis EC's Júlio Paulista fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan da Mata during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
