Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eurico Meirelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho Camargo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Bruninho Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Evangelion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Camargo couldn't finish the play. When Serginho Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Evangelion fans jumped to their feet. In the 10th minute, Sandro Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Geovani Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Washington Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Bruninho Camargo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Evangelion fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bruninho Camargo couldn't finish the play. Serginho Duarte scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kaká Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Washington Rodrigues in the 29th minute of play forced Sancho Panza's goalkeeper Eurico Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serginho Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Meirelles having to interfere. When Evangelion's Bruninho Camargo in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sancho Panza's goalie prevented a goal. Eurico Meirelles didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Serginho Duarte went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The Sancho Panza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Evangelion were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geovani Lira made a kick off. Bruninho Camargo scored 0-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eurico Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Sancho Panza getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Jeferson Alvarenga hit a great ball. Washington Rodrigues's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Eurico Meirelles firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Serginho Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serginho Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Eurico Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Evangelion's Gilberto de Queiroz got a free kick in the 79th minute. Evangelion's Glauco Salles was substituted for Washington Rodrigues. In the 81st minute, Gilberto de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Sancho Panza's Arnaldo da Costa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 87 minutes into the match, Evangelion's goal looked a bit too open when Geovani Lira came free, but Alan Baptista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serginho Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eurico Meirelles having to interfere. Eurico Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glauco Salles in the 90th minute. Serginho Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eurico Meirelles having to make a save. Serginho Duarte had several of the Sancho Panza's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 94 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Eurico Meirelles as he didn't even see the shot coming. Evangelion's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
