Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Giovanni Sá took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Edson Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Doni Vides's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Josué Vander was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doni Vides in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josué Vander saved Lombriga from getting behind. When Edson Alagoano fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brutus FS's protests and gave Edson Alagoano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lombriga booed when Brutus FS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edson Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute Edson Alagoano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Vander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brutus FS's Doni Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Alagoano in the 15th minute of play forced Lombriga's goalkeeper Josué Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Lombriga's Giovanni Sá in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brutus FS's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edson Alagoano in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josué Vander prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Alagoano in the 21st minute of play forced Lombriga's goalkeeper Josué Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doni Vides's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Josué Vander came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Brutus FS's Edson Alagoano. But to his dismay, Edson Alagoano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Brutus FS's Joaquim Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lombriga's Josué Vander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Alagoano in the 28th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Brutus FS's Doni Vides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Josué Vander narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edson Alagoano in the 34th minute of play forced Lombriga's goalkeeper Josué Vander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Josué Vander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Loyola in the 36th minute of play. Bernardinho Capixaba's late challenge caught a Brutus FS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernardinho Capixaba helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, one of Lombriga:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lombriga. Josué Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Doni Vides's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Edson Alagoano put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Josué Vander. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joaquim Braga to make the kick off. Doni Vides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Josué Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josué Vander came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Brutus FS's Doni Vides. But to his dismay, Doni Vides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After a rather tough play, Lombriga's Willian Duarte got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Doni Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Vander having to interfere. Edson Alagoano kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Zé Pedro Vaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute of the match Gilberto Baptista shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrinho Barral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Edson Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brutus FS's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Vander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josué Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edson Alagoano's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Zézinho Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pedrinho Barral. Brutus FS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zézinho Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. When Brutus FS's Edson Alagoano in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lombriga's goalie prevented a goal. Brutus FS's Doni Vides got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Lombriga's Josué Vander got control of the ball when Doni Vides tried to sneak it across the goal line. Josué Vander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doni Vides in the 84th minute. If Edson Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Vander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquim Braga's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Edson Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Josué Vander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brutus FS played a much better game than Lombriga and deserved their victory. The Lombriga players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
