All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cipriano Nogueira to make the kick off. The referee ignored SANTASTICO's protests and gave Fabiano Tinoco a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Fabiano Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SANTASTICO supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SANTASTICO would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
