Gilson Guerra was slow to take the kick. During this time Moscas FC's players had a chance to rest. When Patrício Barbosa fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uhoo's protests and gave Patrício Barbosa a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Uhoo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Gilson Guerra shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Fernão Braga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Carioca having to make a save. When Valdo Faria came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Uhoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Faria couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Faria in the 27th minute of play forced Moscas FC's goalkeeper Hugo Carioca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Moscas FC booed when Uhoo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilson Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Telmo Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Inácio Trigo made a huge save. Inácio Trigo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Telmo Prestes in the 39th minute. The audience held their breath when Dennis Harper in the 42nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Hugo Carioca's left hand side. 45 minutes into the match, Uhoo's goal looked a bit too open when Umberto Vander came free, but Inácio Trigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valdo Faria to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd play minute Fernão Braga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hugo Carioca. 1-1. In the 59th minute Umberto Vander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inácio Trigo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Valdo Faria came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Uhoo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Faria couldn't finish the play. Umberto Vander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Trigo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Prestes in the 82nd minute of play forced Uhoo's goalkeeper Inácio Trigo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernão Braga struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Hugo Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uhoo. After 95 played minutes, Moscas FC's Marcel Breckenfeld shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inácio Trigo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Moscas FC reached it. 96 minutes into the game, one of Uhoo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gilson Guerra shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
