Laurynas Galminas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Chiquinho Lago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Remo Seco came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sufoco Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remo Seco couldn't finish the play. In the 6th match minute, Sufoco Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cauã de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Dadá Rossi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chiquinho Lago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurynas Galminas in the 12th minute of the match. Laurynas Galminas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Lago having to interfere. A collision led to Sufoco Football Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Walmyr Félix hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Giovani SC. Wanderson de Moraes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gandolfo Reyes. 1-1. In the 39th minute Rubens Simões shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gandolfo Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cauã de Almeida got free with Chiquinho Lago in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Remo Seco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chiquinho Lago was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Giovani SC's Chiquinho Lago proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Giovani SC from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Remo Seco made a kick off. Sufoco Football Club's Gandolfo Reyes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens Simões in the 57th minute of play. Walmyr Félix hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Remo Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sufoco Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurynas Galminas in the 68th minute of play forced Giovani SC's goalkeeper Chiquinho Lago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sufoco Football Club's Lino Mello was substituted for Laurynas Galminas. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Mello in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquinho Lago saved Giovani SC from getting behind. Urbano Cordara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Mello scored 3-1 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chiquinho Lago, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sufoco Football Club had won after a very even match.
