Paulino Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agnaldo Salgado having to interfere. Agnaldo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Túlio Loyola, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Trancoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Themolidores FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sete Copas F.C the free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vitório Seco was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitório Seco in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reginaldo Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Themolidores FC's Zé Pedro Trancoso suffered a sore thigh after 53 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Cristóvão Porto fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sete Copas F.C's protests and gave Cristóvão Porto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Themolidores FC booed when Sete Copas F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wanderson Albuquerque didn't get a good kick on the ball.
