Uacurizal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Meirelles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristiano Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Amaral in the 35th minute of play forced Uacurizal FC's goalkeeper Armando Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jean Gomes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gino Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pejeu EC's Gino Jacinto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Pejeu EC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrianinho Amaral to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Amaral in the 52nd minute of play forced Uacurizal FC's goalkeeper Armando Proença to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match, Marcos de Souza got a very nice opportunity to score, but Armando Proença was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Marcos de Souza struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Armando Proença didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pejeu EC. Gino Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edu Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos de Souza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Armando Proença made a huge save. A nice corner shot did that Edu Mumbach got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gino Jacinto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Edu Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gino Jacinto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Uacurizal FC booed when Pejeu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos de Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Pejeu EC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pejeu EC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
