In the 6th minute of the match, Kaká Barros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Diego de Andrade saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alexandre de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Caetano Dante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UMBRELLA FC's Pedrinho de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Digo Paraíba notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Convento's Diego de Andrade. Diego de Andrade was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pedrinho de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. With 36 minutes on the clock, Enrique Vergílio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of UMBRELLA FC booed when Convento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Vergílio didn't get a good kick on the ball. UMBRELLA FC's Digo Paraíba shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 37th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Diego de Andrade but with some difficulty. Diego de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celso Leme went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Digo Paraíba was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of UMBRELLA FC booed when Convento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Digo Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Convento's Diego de Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celso Leme in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Sérgio Rossi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrinho de Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Digo Paraíba cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Diego de Andrade was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Celso Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. UMBRELLA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Diego de Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Diego de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Digo Paraíba in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Alexandre de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Convento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre de Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of UMBRELLA FC booed when Convento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gugu Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego de Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the game, Rodriguinho de Carvalho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UMBRELLA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Convento the free kick. After 83 played minutes UMBRELLA FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodriguinho de Carvalho. If Sérgio Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Digo Paraíba struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Diego de Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UMBRELLA FC. UMBRELLA FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
