Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Timbauva's Diogo Lago started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Magno Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timbauva and the Chile players grew even worse after the yellow card. Magno Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Belmiro de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Vítor Valadares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Luan Schmidt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim Severo. Timbauva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luan Schmidt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute Diogo Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Chile getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ronaldo Santana hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Timbauva's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Santos came free, but Joaquim Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronaldo Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Joaquim Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Severo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronaldo Santana's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Timbauva's Joaquim Severo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luan Schmidt in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Rogério Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Timbauva's Diguinho Souza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vítor Valadares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Timbauva reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Magno Marinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vítor Valadares came out of the goal and Magno Marinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Timbauva getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Afonsinho Paraibano hit a great ball. Enrique Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Severo having to interfere. Vítor Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogo Lago, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Belmiro de Barros didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-1 via right post in the game's 43rd minute. Timbauva's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 47thth minute of the game Ronaldo Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timbauva's Joaquim Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronaldo Santana made a kick off. Belmiro de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chile's Rogério Meira shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 59th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Joaquim Severo but with some difficulty. In the 61st match minute, Timbauva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Quintal to maneuver through the defense. When Ronaldo Santana came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Santana couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute, Luan Schmidt fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Enrique Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Joaquim Severo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Enrique Donato received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Joaquim Severo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th minute Diogo Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vítor Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Zézinho Reis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 72 minutes into the game, Belmiro de Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Vítor Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vítor Valadares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the match, Timbauva's goal looked a bit too open when Nando Santos came free, but Joaquim Severo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Donato recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Donato struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Joaquim Severo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chile. In the 90th minute, Ronaldo Santana left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. In the 93rdth minute of the game Ronaldo Santana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Timbauva's Joaquim Severo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ronaldo Santana came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ronaldo Santana couldn't finish the play. The Timbauva players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
