Joaquim Severo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 秦明钢 in the 24th minute of the match. If Sandro Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belmiro de Barros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulão Baiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 秦明钢 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Joaquim Severo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Joaquim Severo managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when AkyReef Sport Atletic's 秦明钢 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Zé Carlos Schmidt kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
