Viktor Tuček scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenílson Jacinto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wincenty Kapelski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno do Nascimento having to interfere. The supporters of Storms FC booed when Goiatuba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Storms FC's Mário de Barros got a free kick in the 38th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wincenty Kapelski made a kick off. After 55 played minutes Goiatuba FC got a freekick which was hit by Fábio da Mata. 58 minutes into the match, Goiatuba FC's Basílio Arce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Breno do Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leandro Prado came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lenílson Jacinto could save by the left post. 62 minutes into the game, Leandro Prado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lenílson Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mário de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Wincenty Kapelski came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Goiatuba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wincenty Kapelski couldn't finish the play. Leandro Prado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Lenílson Jacinto made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, 吴桦卫 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Storms FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 吴桦卫 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenílson Jacinto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
