In the 14th minute, Rodolfo Bastos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Célio Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Cannarias's zone, Jaime Teixeira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Soeiro came out of the goal and Jaime Teixeira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Pirikitos de Água Doce booed when Cannarias was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Baiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Bastos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Rafael Soeiro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rafael Soeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvaldo Cordeiro in the 29th minute of play. Giovani Baiano's late challenge caught a Pirikitos de Água Doce's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. When Felippe Arce came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Pirikitos de Água Doce fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Felippe Arce couldn't finish the play. Rodolfo Bastos took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Soeiro. Rafael Soeiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Luís Eduardo Vides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Soeiro having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Pirikitos de Água Doce players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
