A very good chance for a goal. 14 minutes into the match, Doriva Xavier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeferson Peixoto. fc.guarulhos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Doriva Xavier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 20thth minute of the game Doriva Xavier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but fc.guarulhos's Jeferson Peixoto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Coritba F.C 2 booed when fc.guarulhos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitinho Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Coritba F.C 2's Fernando Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Gaspar in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, César Guimarães made a precise shot to the right of Fernando Jacinto. Coritba F.C 2's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 28th minute Doriva Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeferson Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geraldo Gaspar to make the kick off. With his leg Jeferson Peixoto managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Coritba F.C 2's Doriva Xavier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 57 minutes into the match, fc.guarulhos's goalkeeper Jeferson Peixoto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Doriva Xavier. 61 minutes into the match, Coritba F.C 2's goal looked a bit too open when Nico de Alcântara came free, but Fernando Jacinto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Doriva Xavier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeferson Peixoto having to interfere. Jeferson Peixoto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doriva Xavier showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 90 minute of play. Alberto Queirós hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Zé Paulo de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coritba F.C 2's supporters rose to their feet, but Zé Paulo de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Doriva Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeferson Peixoto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Coritba F.C 2 walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
