In the 20th minute Geovani Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Prestes in the 27th minute of play. Doriva Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Zézinho Maia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Geovani Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romário Rio struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Zézinho Maia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coritba F.C 2. With a little luck, Atlético Belém Club's Zézinho Maia got control of the ball when Doriva Xavier tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 38th minute, Romário Rio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zézinho Maia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Fernando Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adilson Oliveira in the 42nd minute of play. In the 47th minute Adilson Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the game, Adilson Oliveira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Belém Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coritba F.C 2 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético Belém Club's Adilson Oliveira got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th minute Doriva Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zézinho Maia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Josué Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Doriva Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Coritba F.C 2 fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Coritba F.C 2's Doriva Xavier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Victorio Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Atlético Belém Club's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Xavier came free, but Zézinho Maia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zézinho Maia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romário Rio's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Belém Club's zone, Doriva Xavier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zézinho Maia came out of the goal and Doriva Xavier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zézinho Maia came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Coritba F.C 2's Romário Rio. But to his dismay, Romário Rio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 82nd match minute, Coritba F.C 2 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nazario Viscon to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doriva Xavier took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zézinho Maia. Zézinho Maia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Atlético Belém Club's José Vítor Cavalcante slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fernando Jacinto. That made the score 5-1 after 91 minutes of play. Coritba F.C 2's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when José Vítor Cavalcante scored to the left of an out of position Fernando Jacinto, making the score, 5-2.
