Spectators: 7007 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adriano Rocha got the match started through his kick off. Cesinha Rosado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Trancoso in the 5th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Negrinhos Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Leme came free, but Gil Salgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Adriano Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adriano Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Salgado having to interfere. If Luís Guilherme Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Henrique Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Negrinhos Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Trancoso couldn't finish the play. After 32nd play minutes Luís Guilherme Vieira shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Cesinha Rosado and just under the crossbar into goal. Adriano Rocha scored 1-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gil Salgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Elder Fernandes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luís Guilherme Vieira was the one to do the kick off. The long shot by Luís Gustavo Correia in the 53rd minute really tested Gil Salgado's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Negrinhos Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Henrique Trancoso hit a great ball. Adriano Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Salgado having to interfere. After having played for 57 minutes, Luís Guilherme Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Negrinhos Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Guilherme Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Negrinhos Esporte Clube's Frédson da Silveira got a free kick in the 59th minute. After 60 played minutes, Bom Repouso Esporte Clube's Luís Gustavo Correia shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gil Salgado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bom Repouso Esporte Clube reached it. Luís Guilherme Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesinha Rosado having to interfere. Bom Repouso Esporte Clube's Cesinha Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilson Monteiro in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Negrinhos Esporte Clube defense, Adriano Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gil Salgado. The Negrinhos Esporte Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gil Salgado should have stopped the shot. Gilson Monteiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Cesinha Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beto Leme received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gil Salgado came out and tried to block the shot, but Beto Leme slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 78th minute. The supporters of Negrinhos Esporte Clube booed when Bom Repouso Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Franklin Simão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bom Repouso Esporte Clube's Cesinha Rosado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Guilherme Vieira in the 84th minute of play. Cesinha Rosado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glauco Maciel, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Gilson Monteiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gilson Monteiro came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Negrinhos Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilson Monteiro couldn't finish the play. Cesinha Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luís Guilherme Vieira's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Bom Repouso Esporte Clube had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
