Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Túlio da Cunha took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Túlio da Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 10 minutes into the game, one of Estrela Vermelha J.P:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 18th minute Dedê Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Fábio Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Carlos Fernando Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Estrela Vermelha J.P's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jpower 1981 the free kick. Carlos Fernando Ferreira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Dedê Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dedê Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luiz Fábio Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Dedê Furtado kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luiz Fábio Lara. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Jpower 1981's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Furtado came free, but Luiz Fábio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mané da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luiz Fábio Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Luiz Fábio Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Furtado in the 53rd minute of play. Luan Hermes charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luan Hermes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jpower 1981 getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Luan Hermes hit a great ball. Mané da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Luiz Fábio Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Estrela Vermelha J.P's Abelardo Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Estrela Vermelha J.P from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the match, Jpower 1981's goal looked a bit too open when Dedê Furtado came free, but Luiz Fábio Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 80 minutes into the game, Dedê Furtado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Luiz Fábio Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mané da Silveira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Fábio Lara having to make a save. If Dedê Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dedê Furtado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Jpower 1981's zone, Mané da Silveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fábio Lara came out of the goal and Mané da Silveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luiz Fábio Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedê Furtado, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jpower 1981's Luiz Fábio Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mané da Silveira in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Estrela Vermelha J.P fully deserved thier win.
