Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Josué de Moraes made the kick off which started today's match. Pereira FC's Rômulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué de Moraes in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Júlio Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clemente Trancoso's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Luiz Fábio Fantini on his right side and into the goal. 9 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Rômulo Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Josué de Moraes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Josué de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Rômulo Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jânio Terra charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jânio Terra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Jânio Terra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josué de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Barreto having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Kiko Medeiros fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelson Félix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rômulo Barreto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Josué de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. If Kiko Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Pereira FC's zone, Kiko Medeiros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rômulo Barreto came out of the goal and Kiko Medeiros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kiko Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pereira FC's Rômulo Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Josué de Moraes in the 84th minute of play. Josué de Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rômulo Barreto having to interfere. After having played for 88 minutes, Kiko Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipiabanha EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kiko Medeiros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute, Kiko Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Josué de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rômulo Barreto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Pereira FC got a freekick which was hit by Clemente Trancoso. Ipiabanha EC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pereira FC to leave the ground with a draw.
